Description
Arches National Park in North-Eastern Utah is a treasure trove of amazing rock formations. And it is well-known the world over for them. Therefore, like neighboring Canyonlands National Park, it is quite touristy. Getting a clean shot of any landmark is almost impossible, which is why post-processing these photographs is so imperative.
This photograph was captured on a Saturday evening at sunset in early November. I set up my tripod inside 'North Window' to use it as a natural frame for 'Turret Arch.' Waiting for the right moment with the sun in the right spot and as little tourists in the frame as possible was an exercise in patience - but I eventually was able to capture this photograph with only 10 or so tourists in the frame.
